My computer has randomly restarted very occasionally the last week. I am trying to figure out what is causing it.

Specs:
Win XP Pro sp2
P4 2.0
768 ddr
geforce fx 5900
160g harddrive

No Viruses, no spyware
 
It is possible you need to reload your Performance Counters

type loadperf as source on this link to see all the known error IDs ... unfortunately they did not have one for 3017 but it is very similiar to 3011

How do I get a back up text file to load my perf counters from?
