Hi,

I have to upgrade some 1220's to 4GB UDOCs. I've never performed the update but I'm assuming its fairly straight forward after reading a bunch of posts on this forum. However, I do not have an image. Would anyone be so kind as to share one with me, please?

Thank you.

P.S. This will be for AlohaQS running 6.5 (I believe). Don't think the version matters but can get the exact version if needed.

if you have a working 1 gig udoc, ghost it. Install the 4 gig udock and put image back. I took the 1 gig udocks out, installed 40 gig 2.5" hard drives and put my regular P1220 image on them. Added an additional fan and they run great.
The hard drives mount very nicely in the back of the unit. I paid less the $30 for the drives and the 8" ide cable.

Ross,

I thought about that but I have to upgrade terminals in three different locations and wouldn't want to spend time imaging terminals per location. I was hoping for a more OTB solution where I can image 9 udocs at the office then just pop them in when I get to the location.

Worst case scenario, I guess I could just build my own but was hoping for a bit of luck to save time and just get the image and apply the key.

When I ghost off the bootable usb stick I use, it takes about 4 minutes to complete to a hard drive. once it turns on I still have to re-calibrate the screen for each profile. For some reason even if I ghost after setting it correct it, the calibration is always flipped 180 degree's

Thanks Ross,

I'll give that a go. Appreciate your help.

Ross,

When I attempted to image/re-image a test terminal, I'm getting a bit stuck. Every time I re-image, the "Restore Anywhere" checkbox is checked and greyed out. This causes for my re-image to ask for a Windows XP SP3 CD at the end of the installation, searching for a hotfix.

Have you ever had this happen to you before?

I'm using Norton Ghost 15 (NG15).
