Can anyone recommend a Terminal Emulation Program?

I'm looking for a terminal emulation program that allows you to be able to build and send ASCII coded strings.

Can anyone recommend a product?

How about Hyperterminal that is free provided with win2000.
Look under communications in your start folder.

I used to use a package called "TUN PLUS" to connect to a SCO box. It was a really terminal emulator, better than any of the other ones we tried.
