here's the cls on a 16 that does work

the tdd is in use on all display phones, it gives the clid of the second line if your on the phone.. almost all other class marks are default except auto answer

Change her cls to TDD This will provide CLID on calls to ALL dns that appear on her set while they are ringing in. With ADD cls she only sees clid on her key 0. (She would need a DSP key to press then press 2nd ringing line to view that info. with only ADD

It is true that TDD allows me, as the called party, to see the DN of the caller (while I'm engaged in a call on my primary DN), but why do I see my own name appear on the display (M3904) rather than the name of the caller?

the 3904 i posted is at my desk, i see the number or the name of a caller if i am in the line, i'll check my patch level and retest the feature monday

I only get the caller's name after I answer the line, before that I see my own name.

dialed name display allow?

Nope, I have both of those enabled. Also tried CNIA. Just upgraded to 25.40B with 47 patches, loadware version PSWV 93, and downloaded flash firmware 8.7 into the M3904.

Will be interested to see if John Poole's phone works correctly.

And my other quirk is that when I call someone internally who is busy, I do not see the "BUSY" or "HUNT" indication on my display until the called party answers (on their 2nd line). I have no way of knowing that I am interrupting them until they have already been interrupted. John, can you please test that behavior on your system as well?

i think if you make your phone DNDD (dialed name display denied) that will show you the name of the person calling, as opposed to your own name. Leave CNDA but try making CLS DNDD. I also don't get the BUSY/HUNT indication so I'm curious to see the responses you get for that.

You are right! DNDD worked! But now, what have I just given up?

not sure what you lost, i have dnda and mine works the way it should?

John - could you please explain the purpose of having an MCR with the same extension number on the same TN. Thank you.

All- as posted by Gary7B and Coniglio, any response to the busy or hunt indication when calling another internal number and the called party is on the phone ? Thank you.

because i ahev 10K did numbers at this site, i use mcr to give me lines 2 and 3 as a roll over without burning 3 did's per phone. before i started using that each phone had at least two did's, and with almost 3000 digital we were running out of numbers. either go 5 digit or find a work around. i wanted to go 5, because of the need for networking with a remote site, but that's on hold..
