Can any one please tell me how to call a Unix command from a COBOL program? I am using AIX unix.

By AIX COBOL do you mean IBM COBOL Set for AIX? If so, I don't have any access to that product's documentation. The ability to invoke a UNIX command from a COBOL program typically requires the use of CALL to a proprietary library routine. That information would be in the documentation.
