We have an Avaya G3R 9.5 and are wondering if there is a vector step that can send data to an Avaya IC system?

I am sorry to ask a stupid question, but what is a Avaya IC?

I'm not 100% shure, but it is not possible to send data to AIC with some vector command. Instead of that, you have to see what data can be collected by AIC telephony server when Definity gives call control to AIC. What is version of your AIC? Do you have any problems with AIC? We have a lot of problems with this funny an expensive software from Avaya.

Problems!

We have been in a delayed rollout for 5 months with problems. Care to share any of your's offline? It would be great to compare notes. We are on version 6.02

As for the answer to this question, do you just mean going to an adjunct vector to route your call?

A vector can adjunct route to AIC which will pass the standard ASAI data (ANI, DNIS etc). From this, a workflow can assign to the VDN associated with the vector and run a flow to pull data from a corporate DB etc and store that data in the AIC EDU contact record. Later, screen pops can access the EDU to perform screen pops etc.

If your vector collects digits and you want to pass the digits to AIC, do the collect step then Adjunct Route from the same vector. Again, a workflow assigned to that VDN would write data to the EDU for later use.

Finally, if you have IVRs with the capability to use the AIC contentrator, a VOX server can be setup to communicate with your IVR script and virtually unlimited data can be collected and written to the EDU for later use.

I have a IVR conversant, a PBX definity and CTI Avaya (AIC) but I don't understand as use the IVR with CTI (vox server).

I create in my AIC a Vox server but when a call arrive on PBX the TS.incoming.call event start, all the AIC server start to work but when I route the call to IVR (where I'd like to collect digit!!!) The vox server don't work.

I've another problem, when in the IVR tree I use the transfer blok to transfer the call on another vdn on PBX, the call don't trasferred. Why?

Can you help me??
thank you
