Hi,

The question recently arose here that in the case of an emergency evacuation of our site, the switchboard attendant might not have their wits about them and they may overlook putting the 2250 console into night service. If that happens, can a CS1K PBX admin set this remotely in programming, or even with some kind of station control password from a set in another building? We're trying to avoid having caller get ring no answer during the evacuation. Any other ideas if night service isn't viable?

Thanks,
Mike

Simple, I like it. Just tried it and that did the trick. Thanks very much!

There is also a feature called AFNA (Attendant Forward No Answer) that will put an attendant console in night mode if the calls presented not are answered. Then the Call Forward to the next idle console, and when there are no more consoles, the attendant group is placed in Night mode.

In this case you need to do just nothing but configure AFNA once!!!
