Can ACS 7.0 and Messaging PC card do Extended Absence Greetings?

In addition to AA, I want to have the function of absence greetings when nobody in the small office. I don't think I can do that under this equipment.

But, what equipment/module I should add to achive that? Can VS Mails or any other module do that?

PC mail is just a fancy answering machine. It works well for very small applications. I am not sure what you mean by absence greetings. Both the PC Mail and the VS mail have alternate greetings. So before you leave for a long weekend you change your greeting from 1 to greeting 2. Let me know if this helps. Also as a recom. on a certain voicemail. It just depends on what you want to do with it. I lean more towards the Partner Messaging just because I have so many out there and have had little issues. They also have a lot of options.

Are you sure that PC card can support more than two greetings? If you are, please tell me how.

I have Messaging PC card, and I can only use one greetings.

Absence greeting is used for when we all have to leave the office, and nobody can pick up the phone. I don't believe Messaging PC card can do that.

Do you know how many greetings I can switch in between for Messaging PC card?

As TouchToneTommy mentioned in the other post, the Partner Voice Messaging has only 1 auto attendant and 1 greeting.

The greeting that is recorded for the auto attendant will need to be worded in such a way that it will be acceptable for both normal and after-hours operation.

If multiple greetings are needed, the voicemail will need to be upgraded to an Avaya Partner Messaging.

Sorry guys that was a type O I meant to say Partner mail and VS mail. That is why above it it says PC mail is a fancy ansewering machine.
