Can access be linked to outlook?

Can access somehow be linked to outlook to send out an email? For example, if I had a database and wanted emails to go out to a particular email field in one of the tables, is it possible?

Yes, it can, and in a number of ways. These include Automation, SendObject, Hyperlink Fields and FollowHyperlink. You will find several FAQs and a multitude of posts on the topic.

I've got pretty good vba skills, so which one would you recommend? I'd like to be able to do it two ways.

The first is to create a form and then have a button that says "Send mail" and it will send the output from the form.

The second is to create a query and have it send out to the results of the query.
