I have a report in a access db that I'm trying to convert to Crystal v.10 The only thing is that the access db allows the user to add comments to the report header. Is this possible with Crystal 10? I don't need to save the comments anywhere, just prompt the user as a parameter, then put them on the report.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Ok, I just tested it out. I added a parameter field called comments, then added a formula field and set it to the parameter field. Seems to work fine, it shows up on the report.

Anyone know of any problems with this method, any reasons why I shouldn't be doing this? Thanks again!

Actually you don't even need a formula, just put the parameter field on the report header.

but you know the golden rule of programming

if isn't broken.....
