My phone is in a high traffic area and occasionally random people will use it. Is there a way to "lock" phones so they can't be used without a code or something?

Locking a station is a key system feature on Partner and Merlin phones. For Definity, you could consider allowing the user to change the COR.
You can also limit this feature by insisting that the user enter a password as well as a feature access code before they can change their COR. Be sure that Change COR by FAC field is set to y on the System-Parameters Customer-Options screen. Be sure that each user (who you want to allow to change a COR) has a class of service with console permissions.

1. Type change feature-access-codes and press ENTER.
2. Move the cursor to the Change COR Access Code field.
3. Type *55 (or code desired) in the access code field.
4. Press ENTER to save your changes.
5. Type change system-parameters features and press ENTER.
6. Move to the Password to Change COR by FAC field and enter 12344321 (or other password).
7. Press ENTER to save your changes.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

You could setup up PSA (personal station access) and add a security code. This is probably the easiest option.

Hope this helps, any further details please just ask,

Chris
