Firstly, I would question why you have so many fonts on your system-many of them must be almost identical and taking up a lot of space. I have also heard that too many fonts can make your system unstable.Anyway, why can't you install fonts-is it because there is no 'install fonts' option under the 'file' heading (control panel/fonts)? Andy.
WIndows 95/98 Microsoft finally admitted in about 1997 that there is a font limit of roughly 1200 fonts this can be more or in most cases as low as 750 it all depends on how long the path and filename for each font is you will have to delete some fonts to install new ones. go to
Well first of all I think that you having that many fonts is pointless, but if you have the space for them then so be it. But what you can try is maybe the folder that the fonts are being stored into is full, maybe you could create a new folder and start installing your remaining fonts in that new folder you created. Hopefully this helps. Good Luck!!
In windows there is a limit to how many fonts you can have at the time they say you can only load 1,000 you really can't install near that many. not sure exactly how many you can, but in your case you have probally reached your limit.
