Hi!

I´m adding some vpaths into a HACMP cluster. I have one LUN from one array, and another from a second array. I´m having some difficulty getting the redundant node to pick/up both LUN´s, and I want to be certain it is not something I´m doing awry, rather than it not being presented correctly from out storage team.

On Node A / the current primary

lsvpcfg
vpath3 (Avail pv datavg) 75BAFX100BD = hdisk10 (Avail ) hdisk13 (Avail ) hdisk14 (Avail ) hdisk20 (Avail pv datavg)
vpath4 (Avail pv datavg) 75BBLM10224 = hdisk11 (Avail ) hdisk12 (Avail )
vpath2 (Avail pv hbeatvg02) 75BBLM1017B = hdisk4 (Avail ) hdisk5 (Avail )
vpath7 (Avail pv appsvg) 75BAFX100BE = hdisk15 (Avail ) hdisk21 (Avail ) hdisk16 (Avail ) hdisk22 (Avail pv appsvg)
vpath9 (Avail pv appsvg) 75BBLM10232 = hdisk17 (Avail ) hdisk19 (Avail )
vpath5 (Avail pv hbeatvg03) 75BAFX10211 = hdisk3 (Avail ) hdisk18 (Avail ) hdisk6 (Avail ) hdisk23 (Avail pv hbeatvg03)

vpath0 (Avail pv ) 75BAFX11008 = hdisk2 (Avail ) hdisk7 (Avail ) hdisk24 (Avail ) hdisk25 (Avail )
vpath1 (Avail pv ) 75BBLM1100F = hdisk8 (Avail ) hdisk9 (Avail )

My two new vpaths are vpath0 and vpath1

On my redundant node, I only see the following new vpath

vpath0 (Avail ) 75BAFX11008 = hdisk5 (Avail ) hdisk6 (Avail ) hdisk10 (Avail ) hdisk13 (Avail )

I´ve run cfgmgr over fcs0 and 1, fscsi0 and 1 but no trace of my missing LUN - 75BBLM1100F

Is there anything more anyone can suggest or do I need a reboot or visit to storage?

Should your primary node be seeing vpath1 through all 4 paths like it does vpath0? Of course I see some of the other vpaths not showing all 4 paths either such as vpath9.

I was just thinking that maybe the Storage folks didn't get all your HBA zoned in properly. Of course just guessing since I don't know what kind of storage you are using.

If it were mine I would try remove the vpath1, hdisk8, and hdisk9 from Node A if you don't have it in use yet. Then rerun cfgmgr from Node B to see if it shows up. Then rerun on Node A.

Spot on!

It took a while but Storage finally found one LUN hadn't been presented correctly.

Thanks!
