Camtasia Studio 1.01

I have made a presentation in Camtasia 1.01 and imported it into Premiere 6.5 for editing, I exported it to tape via my Panasonic NVDS 150 camcorder, to Video tape on VHS video-recorder. The video appears very "wavy" and hard to watch.
I thought it was because,on closer inspection Cantasia records at 5 fp sec, so I changed the default to 30 fp sec, but the result was the same fluttering picture.
I do not have any problems using Premiere for other projects - so I presume the problem is either my Camtasia settings or importing into Premiere.
Any ideas would be appreciated

I cannot offer too much help as I do not have Camtasia 1.01 or your specific camcorder, but there are a lot of variables to be considered with your problem.

I suggest eliminating variables to isolate where the problem occurred. Does the recording on your camcorder play as expected? If so, is it conversion to VHS tape? Could you have bad tapes (camcorder or VHS)? If those aren't the problems, what happens if you create a project within Premiere from scratch, then export to VHS tape? Same results? If you export your stated project to AVI from Premiere, how does it respond (eliminate camcorder and VHS)? The fps rate as you mentioned could also be a factor---are they the same in Camtasia and Premiere, what about resolution?

Basically, I think you're going to have to go on a pathfinding mission unless you're lucky enough to find someone using the same products as you.
