Calls won't transfer to voice mailbox

Hi,

Strange problem here! A customer bought a used MICS with NAM vmail. Calls that ring directly to a phone forward to mailbox after 4 rings, but calls that come in through the AA forward (or revert back?) to the vmail DN only...caller hears AA greeting, not mailbox. Am I missing something????
 
Some older NAM's need a patch for Call Forward no Answer to work right. What software Release do you have on the NAM and MICS?

I can't get into Feature 915 for some reason to check, but the outer plate notes that it is a VM 3.0 MOD 2. MICS is newer 7.1...

Calls do ring to vmail when phone is called directly. Just not under a transferred situation. Anything that I can do??

OK, I am able to get into the NAM under Feature 922, then Access2.

Is there any way to upgrade a NAM to 4.1 easily??

Try going into F 983, login and dial 4. There is a flag that says "voice mail Y". If this is flagged to "N" you will not be able to forward to VM from auto att. Only internal and F 986 transferes.
 
It is set to "Y", but seems like it is not recognizing it. I tried to toggle it on and off, just to see what happens. It appears that it is confused. I am thinking that this must be an upgraded NAM. How can I check to see what version if NAM is running???? Thanks to all for your comments!
