Hello All,

I'm getting I little problem with Kirk Phones. The system is based on IPO ver 7.0(36) with around 50 1608 phones and 30 Kirk 5020/5010 with 2 Base Stations and 1 Server WKS6000 (polycom/specktralink).
There are a Sip Trunking configured on LAN2 and the whole network (including the phones and polycoms) are on the LAN1.

The problem is: When the incoming calls went to Avaya Phones, everything works fine but when the destination is the Kirk phones, the calls goes directly to Voicemail Pro as you can see on this logs:

We tried to change codecs on the Avaya IPO and on the Kirk Server, but it continues not working...

I imagine you haven't programmed it correctly, how are the shortcodes configured and trunks etc :)

The KWS6000 does not do SIP trunking.
You need to program it with SIP extensions and each phone requires an 3rd party IP endpoint license.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Guys,

I think I did not explain correctly...

All the system is working fine... both The 1608-I and Kirk can make calls (external and internal - between extensions) but cannot RECEIVE direct calls (DID calls) to Kirk only. On the 1608 both incoming and outgoing is ok!

The service provider needs to receive a complete number and not the 4 last digits. On the 1608 users, on the SIP TAB all the users are configured with the complete number (for example 1139390001, so when the user calls from 1608, the invite goes with the complete number on the sip uri and works correctly. To outgoing calls the Kirk acts as the same but on the incoming it seems that the call cannot come to the extension and the Avaya redirects the call to VMPro.
