4400 series phones. IPOffice 406.
I have an ext that all of the sudden will not roll to VM. Vm is checked in programming. I unchecked it, rebooted, checked it again and still not working. I can log into her VM, so I know its there. The user is in two groups, one of which has VM activated for the group. I moved the phone to another port (apparently just to say that I did) with no change.

Where should I be looking?

An IPOffice 406 ??? Really? Try a 500V2 and post again if it dont work.

Does the vm work? can you dial *17?
If so it may be that the name is conflicting with another name as VM Pro access VM Boxes by name and not by number.
AND, depending of the version a name like PeterTosh1 and PeterTosh2 are considered as the same name by VM Pro but not by IP Office. In earlier versions the name is limited to 12 chars as IP Office adds extra info at the beginning of a name send to VM Pro for telling if it has to be a leave or get mail action is.
Use debugview to see where it breaks down.

Earlier releases could NOT allow spaces for the name field. I would make sure there are not spaces in the name field by erasing it and putting it back in (a space after the name would cause this). Not the full name field, the name field.

That is one of the golden rules of the IP Office naming convention:
Range = Up to 15 characters.

This is the user's account name used for RAS Dial In, Caller Display and voicemail mailbox. As the display on Caller Display telephones is normally only 16 digits long it is useful to keep the name short. Only alphanumeric characters and space are supported in this field. This field is case sensitive and must be unique.

Names should not start with a space. Do not use punctuation characters such as #, ?, /, ^, > and ,.

Voicemail uses the name to match a user to their mailbox. Changing a user's name will route their voicemail calls to a new mailbox. Note however that Voicemail Pro is not case sensitive and will treat names such as "Steve Smith", "steve smith" and "STEVE SMITH" as being the same.

Do not provision a user with the Name "admin". The user name "admin" is a reserved value on the one-X Portal Instant Message (IM) and Presence server. An IP Office "admin" user will not have IM and presence services.

For Outbound Contact Express deployments, when an agent logs in to an extension, the user name associated with the extension is changed to the agent ID.

I will check the name issue tomorrow. But no changes have been made to this phone. (That I know of).
