Calls going to voicemail

The problem I'm having is outside calls taking about 6 rings before going to voicemail. The cover delay has been changed to 1 but I still get same number of rings. Any suggestions???

It is a Merlin Magix with Merlin Messaging (1.1). It want for VM box for that person to pickup by the fouth ring.

Yes we are using the AA. Ken1713, yes we have two phones that cober for other ext,ie, 8600 covers for 8615 and 8611 covers for 8613 and 8614,

If you want the vm to answer after number of rings in cover delay the you need to remove those cover buttons as the calls are ringing there before going to vm.

Are all the ports busy to the voice mail to u have to wait until one comes free?

Ken is correct, remove the cover buttons and see what happens.

This is happening on all phones with VM not just the ones with cover.

check your calling group, that you have the correct number of stations for your card & are you linear or cicular hunt
