Has anyone ever used callrex in a multisite configuration. Im not sure if this can be done but I have an MPLS backbone connecting 3 sites the NBX is in Standard IP mode and located at a colo site by itself. each remote site will have a chasis/t1 and IP phones. Has anyone ran into call recording with remote sites like this. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has.

I have with Cisco, not 3Com. what kind of Switching are you using?

We ended up getting the situation working correctly. Basically the issue was that while the NBX was in standard IP mode, the line card and local phones would still communicate via L2 and callrex was expecting to communicate via the same fashion that call setup/teardown was done in. after using wireshark you could see the telephone and digital line card connecting and communicating via mac address. I have to say, although this issue did take some time to reslove, the support at Telrex is top notch. They will always perform a gotomeeting sesssion and fix the problem for you. To wrap up this story telrex created a new development that helped the software work correctly for this install.
