Add a mail box, get to class of service and it dumps. It takes you back to add del chg. I have built boxes allaround this number with no problem. I have looked for conflicts, and can not find any.
What version is the CallPilot software? (log into F983 and when the display reads Mbox, AA Other, press 9)
Can you build the mailbox without assigning an extension?
If you can access with a browser, you can run a Mailbox Info report and see if the extension you are associating with the mailbox is already configured as an extension or alternate extension in another mailbox.
The software ver. is 31.10.14.22 . When I try build the box without the ext. I get same message right at class of service, it states it cannot continue exit. we have been doing this with a fast RAD. Not sure if we can VPN in or not
If you're certain that you have a mbox seat available, the sounds like possible corruption.
Adding the mailbox without an extension removes the possibility of dual assignments.
You can try to get remove the corruption with a rebuild.
Do a backup.
Then use F982 to do a reinstall.
Immediately see if you can build Mbox 2662.
If it works great, or not so great since you'll have to rekey the voicemail, if it doesn't work restore from your backup.
I am having this same problem on a BCM400 CP ver41.02.60.22.
I tried backing up the CallPilot, reinstalling it, and doing a restore and the problem was not fixed. I wish I had tried building a mailbox before doing the restore.
Did doing a reinstall get this problem fixed for you?
