CallPilot Voice Menu - No Response Problem

Good Day All,

I am having a bit of a problem with a Callpilot voice menu I have built.

The menu start with an annoucement block and from there it proceeds to a menu block.

The menu is setup to allow for three retries after no response. Once those three tries are up, it should proceed to a express voice messaging block which allows the user to leave a voicemail.

The problem is that the retry option is not working. Once the annoucement block is done and the user is into the menu block if they do no respond within about 2-3 seconds they are transfered to an attendent.

Any thoughts?

Check the "No response" and "Rotary" options of the menu. Point them to the Express Messaging Block.


 
That did it!

I already had the No Response option set to the Express Messaging Block. Setting the Rotary Option to the Express Messaging Block is what fixed it.

I guess when an user first comes into a menu the Rotary option takes priority over the No Response option.
