Looking at our callpilot. There has been a increase in temporary remote users. Is this because people are building distribuation list in their mailboxes? Or is it from people sending voicemail messages to other people within our company? Thanks.
neither or those would add remote users, i build remote users for an out of office sales team member, no internal lamp but remote email/cell notification... a remote user is a user assigned a distinct mb number...
Not to my knowledge, and the biggest thing about this is that all of these temp. remote users or within our company, but they have a completely different voicemail system.. Could it be from our interchange that process our voicemails between sites?
could be, with sites networked, you may have users in the remote system built as shadow boxes in each system, i have a system with 3 piltots networked but don't have access fromhere to list remote users to verify
Yes - Networking uses temp remote users. I suspect you just have an increase in networked voice mail messages. These are messages that are created after login and sent to networked site, Messages from a networked mailbox that are reply'd to, etc
You can but it is not neccesary. Those that use the networking feature are usually the same group - if you leave in there system will not have to add back in next time they send a network message.
