CallPilot not recognizing DNIS digits

I have a Rls 5.5 CS1000 connected to a 4.04 CP. CallPilot is not recognizing the original DNIS digits.

When I turn on DCH messaging it shows the 4 digit DNIS as incoming. I delete the phantom with the DNIS going to CP. Then I put it on a phone. It rings thru to the DNIS. Put it back as a phantom going to CP and get a message stating the number is not recognized in CP. The number it reads back is the 800#, not the DNIS.

All patches on both the PBX and CP are up to date.

Any ideas where this is coming from? PBX, CallPilot, or even the carrier.

I had someone tell me that they believe there is a PBX for a similar problem but I could not find it.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

In the mailbox you have already set up, put the toll free # it is reading back as an alternate DN. This will get the call to the right mailbox and will get you going until you find the real issue.

trvlr,

Thanks for the response but I've tried that with no luck. My ultimate is to get Call Pilot to recognize the DNIS digits. This is a big site with lots of 800 numbers so the customer is insisting this work correctly

Got to be put in exactly as it reads it back, I am sure you did, but just wanted to be sure. I understand you want it right, just trying to give you a possible work around for the short term. Good luck.

You might have to put a leading "1" in front of the 800 number in the mailbox.

Look at the CallPilot CDN in LD 23.

How is the TDNS prompt configured?

TDNS (NO) Yes - Is DNIS number an original Called Party.
