Our backup array died about a month ago, and we have moved to a new backup array. Long and short of it is even though I've changed my backup device info to point to this new array, I have been getting the following error since the backup is failing:

The backup/restore of "SystemBackup" could not be initiated due to MAS error 41827.

Can someone tell me what MAS error 41827 is so I have a clue as to what might be the problem. I did do a simple test just to see if the CallPilot could talk to this new array, and it could. I basically copied a folder with some files in it and wrote/pasted this folder and files to the same place where the CallPilot should be doing it's backup to. It worked fine. It was able to write to this location from the CallPilot server.

Any assistance would be of great help since I have made changes within a month and now do not have a recent backup.

Thanks in advance

I would delete the old mapped drive location in Call Pilot and create a new one. There may be some issues with the drive mapping when the array went down. Good Luck!

Thanks. It turns out that it is a security rules issues between the CallPilot (NT Server) and the new array. My IT guys made a seperate machine for me with just Win98, and CallPilot was able to push the backup to it, so we will need to figure this piece out, but for now at least I have a recent Full Backup.
