I am having problems making a backup of my CallPilot 5.0 to a network drive. I have checked all of our security and share settings. I am able to connect to Callpilot from all the servers I have tried; however, I am unable to connect to any servers from CallPilot. I get the following error:

Unable to start backup operation. 41809#Can not establish a network connection to the remote folder (\\ServerName\Share Name) using "Share Name" backup device. Net error = 1014, Win32 = 1240. The account is not authorized to log in from this station. Remote disk device is not ready. The account is not authorized to log in from this station.

I am lost with this one. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Install service pack 2 and it will work. I had the same problem last week with a Release 4 CallPilot.

Are you talking about MS Server 2003 SP2? If so I have SP 2 installed.

Yes. That fixed our issue. Here is the link to the Knowledge Base article that descibes this problem...

There is also another resolution listed. It states: Under Local Security Policy>Local Policies>Security Options, change the "Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always)" setting to "Disabled" and reboot the server
