Can licenses be moved from one Callpilot to another Callpilot? They are both on the same release and belong to the same company.Can anyone please let me know if this is available. We do have the ability to move ISM's from one system to another at this time.
 
Apparently so, I am doing this for a customer now but the first step is to upgrade all software to the latest releases including the PABX and you need SRS
 
If you own both systems and they are on the same release, you can move licenses, but not for free. There will be a handling fee for this. You would have to open a request with your provider and they can submit the forms to Avaya to have this done, and you have to have your like systems in an active License Pool to do this.

The good thing is, the last I checked you did not have to have PASS, but you will have to pay for the service. It shoudn't cost more than $1K.

The form is called:

Software License Transfer Form for Nortel Enterprise Solutions Products.

It will transfer licenses from one system to another, provided they are the same release levels. Once the new keycodes are generated, you must provide proof of transfer to Avaya within a specified time frame or you will be charged a full upgrade cost.

The department within Avaya is "Distribution Management and Contracts
 
When you say active License pool is this something like what we have with the CS1000 systems whre we can move ISM's?
If we didn't set this up when we signed our PASS agreement, are we out of luck or can we proceed and just have to pay to get this done?
Our provider says we can't move the licenses are they incorrect?

Has anyone used this process of transferring licenses between two Callpilot 5.00.41 servers?

What would my vendor need to get this completed.
