Like he title says, when someone calls in, the call pilot will not pick up the General mailbox.
I've just begun learning these phone systems and haven't really played with a call pilot yet so i need a little assistance please.

Could be many reasons.

Does AA answer at all? How are expecting the GDM to answer? Need a lot more info.

Not %100 sure, as i haven't been on site yet to check things out. I should have a better idea this afternoon. All i've been told is they are using a BCM 50. I believe AA is only on when the office is closed other than this they have a receptionist.
I will post back later after i gather more info.

If they have a BCM then it not a Callpilot 150.
100/150 are external mails that go along side Norstar systems.

Check Mailbox 100 or associated with receptions ext
Check receptions ext is CFNA to vmails DN
Check GD is turned ON.

If nothing makes sense then call a tech in.

If you don't know the system then I'm not to sure why you think you are going to be able to fix the problem? By no means can you just guess where the problem lies.

Thank you CurlyCord.

I didn't even have to go that far.
Apparently the receptionist or someone filling in for her turned off the message waiting indicator, therefore everything was indeed working as it should.

I have a BCM on the way so i can better understand how these systems work. I mainly work on PC's, Servers and networks therefore i'm a total noob to phone systems.
