Hello gents,

I've come across a Callpilot 150 rel2.1 on a 8x32. Initially Everything worked. I was to delete the mailboxes of all the extensions that weren't in use.
After deleting the 3rd box, the cp froze. I gave it a few minutes, with no response. I proceeded to reset the callpilot (powercycle), at which point the Callpilot webinterface doesn't startup anymore.

On the CLI, I get the prompt
'Access failed to start, system will restart'
'System will reboot in 1 seconds'

1. Is there a CLI command to enable the webinterface so i can proceed to delete the mailboxes?
2. How do I solve this access issue?

try and upgrade this cp to 3.1 as it is a free upgrade and has many fixes in it

I'm not sure what caused the problem,
But it wasn't a software issue.
I Used the same software on another spare cp150/mini, and it came up on the 1st try.
Keep in mind, it is the same software card, same ps. Just changed the NTAB9825 module.

There was a power supply issue that, since rls2, has been changed. It's usually the boot loader (s/w) or the psp.

The third MB? Do their extensions start at 100 (or 10), and the third mailbox you deleted was 102 (or 12,1002,etc...)?

102 is the Admin mailbox- the one you log into with f983. I'm not sure what would happen if you were able to delete it, I've never tried.

Power down, remove the software card. Leave down for 10 minutes or so, replace card, power up. Leave up for at least 30 minutes.

Sometimes giving it a rest (sounds doofy but works) helps. As well as reseating the sw card.

Please let us know if it keeps giving you trouble.

mroberts,

oddly enough it's back up after giving it a 'rest'.
I had it down for a day, reinserted the PCMCIA Card with the software on it, and it came up.

Rikrodgers,

No it wasn't the admin or general mailbox. Was the 3rd MB i was assigned to remove from users that left the company.

On another note, Is it possible to delete messages from a MB through the manager, without deleting and recreating the MB? Specifically the General Mailbox? It is currently full with 2000+ messages of which 98% are just busy tone?

On GD, there is no way to delete multiple messages, it's gonna require pressing "8" 2000 times. You could do a reinstall, and wipe out all programming. Your call.
