Does anyone know the procedure for loading the Microsoft hotfixes on a CallPilot 1002rp rls 5.0 server? Or point me to the right docs. Thank you very much. The server is currently in operation.

jsut take the hotfix .msi file put on a CD and run from the CD drive. It will prompt you through the install. check with the espl to make sure nortel has approved the hotfix. not all applications need microsoft hotfixes.

Nortel comes out frequently with SECPeps which includes all the Microsoft Hotfixes which are verified from Nortel for CallPilot.

Don`t install any Hotfixes you got direct from Microsoft!!!

You can install Hotfixes directly from Microsoft, but just wait until Nortel gives the OK. MS08-067 is a prime example. It came out on 10/22/08 and in 5 days Nortel just informed everyone to load on all servers. You didn't have to wait for the PEP to come out.

To view the Security bullitens look on the Technical Support page. On the left is "Security Bulletins" and it will list all the updates and thier status.
