Hey guys,

Our company is looking into buying a phone system. We're about 40 people now, but may end up being as large as 120 at some point. We got a quote for the Nortel MICS w/v6.1 software and CallPilot 100.

Question is, and sorry if I'm dumb here, but the system can support up to 192 phone extensions, but only 40 voice mailboxes? Wouldn't you expect most people to want a mailbox per extension, at least in offices manned by people? Is that the only thing the CallPilot 150 remedies?

Thanks,
~S~

The Call Pilot 150 would be the way to go it supports 200 mailboxes w/ auto attendant and 300 if you do not use the AA, it also has call center and unified messaging as options.

They are proposing 40 MB's initially in their quote. They can be added with keycodes for additional MB seats in the future up to 200.

The 150 also gives you 4 more ports (doubling the usage capacity of the 100,) and up to 59 hours of storage capacity, compared to the CP100's 9 hours.

Sorry,

Incorrectly stated. I had CP150 on my mind with the initial 40 MB's.

As per Roldan & brike's info stated, you would want to go with the 150.
