Hello Everyone,

I work for an SMB that uses a CallPilot 100 vm that will not boot. The system turns on, starts to power up and then hangs and restarts.

We had a UPS fail and then a power outage, after which this issue started to occur. I have seen posts on the forum that say switching to the 8v power supply can help (we have 9v currently), but after hooking up a serial cable it looks like the CP board may be fried or the software corrupted:

/* Start of boot process */

Initializing PCMCIA Stack ...SSInit: CS_Sockets - 2,Num_PWindows - 8

/* End, it hangs and then starts over */

I want to avoid purchasing a power supply if that is not the issue, so I was hoping that someone might be able to identify the cause of the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

I am guessing PS.

Do in order:
-Replace Power Supply to 8 volts - Part # is NTAB3456AM
-Attempt upgrade of software to latest release using front slot
-Replace software card with latest release
-Replace cabinet

PS- Always good to have a spare PS on hand anyway.

@Curlycord,

Looks like you were right the issue was a faulty power supply.

Thank you for the advice!

@norstarboy125,

Yes the old power supply was a 9v
