Callouts with two pointers

using Excel 03 and trying to call attention to two specific cells but want to use only one callout but point to both cells. Have done the hide one callout under the other and group them and provide the text on the top callout of the group but I suspect there is a cleaner way of doing this... TIA, Walt

I guess it depends somewhat on what type of callout you desire. However, you can choose your main callout, then select one of the Line Callout (no border) options and attach it to your main callout. You will need to format the no border autoshape to no fill for color. Group them together as needed. Perhaps not much better, but an alternative.
