I have a callmanager v4.2.3 cluster on two servers.
Recently my subscriber crashed and I had to reinstall the OS.
My original install disks for callmanager are v4.1.3.

Is there a way to bring the subscriber back up to 4.2.3 without brand new 4.2.3 install cds?

Please advise.

Thanks

There is a single file on CCO that will do this for you. The name is : ciscocm-ffu.4-2-3.exe . Build the server as CCM 4.1.3 and then run this file. I've never trid to bring up a Subscriber on a different version than is on the Publisher. Let me know if it works.

Unfortunealy I can't even get that far. If you use the 4.1.3 install CD and say that you want to install a subscriber, it checks the publisher's version and says they don't match. It then quits the install...

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for letting me know. I almost had a similar situation last week when a Sub came up with errors on CCM 4.02 but I only had CCM 4.01 disks. Fortunately I was able to go ahead and upgrade it to CCM 4.1.3 and the errors went away.

Hello
I falled with same problem couple months ago.
The only solution is to ask from cisco to get 4.2.3 installation CDs (or find them somewhere)

Regards

Thanks for the help.

I had to go through our telco (whom we have our maintenance contract with) to obtain the 4.2.3 install and recover CDs.

Thanks
