calling party name on the display

Hi all;

I ve md110 bc12 and isdn pri.Isdn pri connected to public exchange.I can phone book list on the md110.
for example
NIINIIR=078291122,NAME1="ERICSSON",NAME2="DESIGN",NAMEDB=YES; external number added.
So,he/she ?s call?ng my ?sdn number.h?s/her call?ng party number ?s 078291122.I can see their number on the my d?splay .Telephone ?s dbc 4223 d4 mode.
My question,
Is ?t possible to have ?ncom?ng calls calling party name on the display?

Why not, if the public exchange sends you that number in the SETUP message.

NO no no..command niini.I can see calling party number on the display, but there are niini command.NIINIIR=078291122,NAME1="ERICSSON",NAME2="DESIGN",NAMEDB=YES;

Public exchange is not send calling party name.only number.It s calling my did number (his-her calling party number 078291122)so on the display number 078291122.i can not see Ericsson Design only number 078291122.Why i can not see on the display ERICSSON DESIGN.

Hi, notsniw,
sorry, i didn't understand your initial question. IMHO, the namedb relates to "Call by name feature" which allows you to type the name on the DTS keypad and then initiate the call by pressing a soft key (as Alex says). I think, You need a feature like in mobile phones. May be, it's realised in MD110.

I am asking my questions from the begining. In my BC12 SP5
? programmed call by name feature and ? can call outside by typing the name of the parties.

Public network does NOT send the name of the A party

My guestion is, if the number of the calling party is matched to the name at my database(that ? created by NIINI)
is it possible see the name of the caller at the screen of
4223 or 4225.

for example ? created a name for the external number with command line
NIINIIR=078291122,NAME1="ERICSSON",NAME2="DESIGN",NAMEDB=YES;

telecom hust sends the number like 078291122

can ? see the name ERICSSON DESIGN
with calling number at the display of my DTS.
