Calling Number will not Appear???

Hi,

I have two avaya switches connected via IP trunking. Both have CM 3.1.2 and S8300/G700. I have problems in sending out the calling number when someone dialed an extension going to my other site. They want to appear the name and the number of the person who is calling and vice versa. But still only the name of the station will only appear. How to set such that name and number will appear in the phone? Also, the name will only appear unless the call is engaged.

What you appear to be missing is the Qsig signaling.

Qsig is the protocol used to package and deliver the calling name and calling number.

You might also lack DCS which both systems must have to deliver calling name and number as a native Avaya integration.

But I appreciate if you can give me steps on how to set DCS and Qsig. What particular parameters in trunk group that I need to activate?
 
Try qsig on the trunk group. Change the trunk group, signal group protocols both to B at both sites.
