Calling extensions off CCR menus

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to dial an extension and or the # for the directory from a submenu of a CCR tree? I.e. if the caller presses 1 and then tries to call an extension will they route to the extension? Or if the caller remembers they can press # for the dial-by-name directory can the press it and get the directory? Thank you!! This is for a BCM450.
