Any body know how to call a crystal report from DOs prompt.
Reply is appriciated.

Hi,

Try this,

C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\CRW32

Nuffsaid.

thanks for ur reply.
i tried it. it opens report in design time.
i need to run a report from DOS. The report should not open its design time. i should see the Preview.
thanks in advance.

Nuffsaid's answer will not call A crystal reports from the DOS prompt, it will call the program crystal reports from the DOS prompt. CRW32.exe is the program name, not the name of a specific crystal report.

To call A single crystal report, add \reportname.rpt or \reportname.exe to the end of Nuffsaid's instructions. I hope it will work I have never tried it. Please let me know. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

There are no DOS command lines for Crystal unless you compile the report using the compile feature. If you use this feature you can launch the EXE from DOS. See faq149-277 for info on the compile feature. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
