I have a number of Citrix servers running specific applications. Across these servers on occasion we find the system Registry hive grows and grows, to the point that if we do a reboot of the server it doesent reboot (we boot via a temp install and copy over the system hive with a good backup to recover.)
My question is what is causing the registry growth (I believe its something in the profiles or to do with Printing)? and is there anything that I can do to prevent this?

Any help much appreciated

What type of profiles are you using? (local or Roaming)

Also, go to sysinternals and get there regmon program. It will collect gobs of data, but will help you resolve this issue. May be a rouge app.

Just out of curiosity, You are not running in install mode are you??
