Hello,

We have created a Phantom number of test in the PBX 8667 and this we have forwarding to an external number 91769xxxx.
the problem is that not show the ID of real incoming calls and we need to know the ID of the calls, but only shows them the 8667.

Them we created ACD 8667 and forwarding to the external number, but we have the same problem...we can't see the CallerID.

Any idea???

Thank you

Not sure i know what you mean but if you forward to external the PABX will just tandem though the originators CLI. If you turn on the DCH messaging in 96 you will see what i mean.

For example call arriving from PSTN the setup message
Calling 1234567890 TON NATL
Called 8667

Outgoing setup message after the forward.
Calling 1234567890 TON NATL
Called 1769xxxx

What normally happens is the Carrier would look at that CLI and filter it out then replace with your DDI Pilot number, hope this is what you mean.

It's highly unlikely that your carrier will allow you to send a number as caller ID over a trunk that the number does not belong to. The carrier will not see the number in their database correlating to that trunk so they normally will not allow it to go out. They will strip it and stuff (replace it) with the DDI pilot (as Bignose21 said) or they will stuff the BTN of the trunk depending on the carriers policy.

Thank you very much for the contribution od ideas....we are studing a possible solution, when it is running I share this in the forum.

Are your incoming and out going trunks PRI or IP? If you are using PRI, (NT5d12,UDT,TMDI or equal) in LD 86 check to see if DORG is set to "YES". In ld 21 check to see what NCNA and NCRD for the outgoing route are set to. We had this problem awhile back and solved the problem by changing the DORG, NCNA and NCRD all to yes for the outgoing Route and the callers CLID was passed and on and not the local set DN. On PRI Ckts the carrier doesn't care what the CLID is. If you are using IP, yes the carrier will have issues most likely.

the possible settings in the PBX going to have some impact to our CC and finally decided to remove the number of PRI...many thanks
