CALLER ID?

System: 3x8 DR5.1

I would like to have CLID display on all of the phone sets when the incoming line is ringing without having to use the feature F811.

If this is not possible with 3X8 which Nortel system can do to job? (Please give me software version and hardware)

No on the 3x8. Any release CICS, or a MICS w/R6.1 will show CID on all ringing sets.

I am working on a Norstar MICS with 4.1 software with T7316 phones and customer wants to be able to see the number and name display on caller id at the same time without pressing a feature code. Is this possible or do you need to upgrade the system software to 6.1 and also change the phone set to T7316E?

Upgrade the software. Your T7316 phones will work.

you can NOT see both the number AND name in the same screen - in any software release - iff thats what u are looking for
