Hi

Is there a way on the Mitel 3300 to have the caller ID for only 7 extensions to say Blocked ID. I know I can change the number that is displayed but I really need it to say Blocked ID.

Thank you,
Richard

Assuming the following (Please provide in the future)

3300 MCD
PRI Trunks
Configured for Call by Call

If assumptions correct, then Yes

Hi,

Sorry. Yes it is a 3300 MCD v6.0 SP3 with PRI Trunks. I believe it is Call by Call, but how can I confirm it?

In your ARS modified digits do you have any digits inserted before dialing?

e.g. {000}

If not, then call by call is not active

Forms:
[ul]
[li]Bearer Capabilities[/li]
[li]Calling Line ID Restriction <-- This is the one you want to be Call by Call[/li]
[li]PRI/QSig Network Specific Facilities[/li]
[/ul]

You can leave Bearer and Network at default and only set Calling Line ID restriction to Call by Call.

In this case, you would need {0} (Send digits) and {1} (Don't send) in your modified digits.

If yes, then you need to build a route that uses {001} instead.

Then either get your users to dial a different access code, or COR restrict them from the standard routes and force them to the alternate routes.
