No caller ID on Norstar with CI card( works on one of the cards---where system is shared by two offices)

Set A&R on lines 001-004

Sey Caller ID on lines to Y

Caller ID on set to yes.

Set system for 2 rings


No nuber is displayed.
 
Like norstarboy125 said, what release. The call must ring at least 2 times (as you state), but if AA is answering after two rings, mabey it needs to ring one more time. Last thing and may be a dumb question, do you have CI with your local DT provider?
 
If not sure and dont have test set to hear the CLID after the rings on the lines move the working line to the other line ports and see if it is coming thru on the sets if not match line that works with line that don't..
 
sw 6.1 there are two/three companies sharing this system. One other company also has a CI card and is getting the CI no problem. Bell has provided the Caller ID.

Do you have a butt set? If so, put it on the line you're having trouble with. Call in on a cell, and after the first ring tone, you should hear a quick set of tones. If you don't, then the CO isn't sending caller ID.
