Hi,

I am having trouble with my Avaya IP 206 system displaying Caller ID.

I have 3 ISDN 2e channels with a set of DDI numbers.

When a customer calls via the main line number attached to the ISDN channels caller ID is displayed, however when someone rings a DDI line the caller ID is not displayed.

BT have confirmed that Caller ID is enabled on both the main ISDN lines and the Caller ID.

The handsets we are using are Avaya 5420's

If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Thanks....Pigsfoot.

It's probably to do with how BT have built the data on the circuit. They never hold their hands up straight away so just keep on at them.

Sorry just realised there is a typo in my original post.

The system is a 406 V2 NOT a 206 and it's running OS version 3.1.

Cheers

Run a monitor trace on the IPO to see if you are getting the CLI from BT or take an ISDN2 Trend to site, plug it into the lines and see what happens.

I would be betting some reasonable money BT is the problem.
