I have a Definity G3si R9 with a number of TN793B circuit packs. These circuit packs should display Caller ID on a phone that supports it, but nothing shows up, either for outside calls or inside calls.

I am getting the Caller ID info on the PRI trunks and this information does show up on the 6408 digital phones that are connected to the switch.

I looked through the "change station" screen and tried various options, but so far no success. Is anyone doing this and if so can you tell me what needs to be turned on to make it work properly.

(My apologies for originally posting this at the end of a currently running unrelated thread. The chair to keyboard interface was obviously not working properly.)

Hi

Try to configure analog set as 'CallrId', not 500/2500/k2500

regards
Pawel

very cool trick - I moved a help desk analog cordless phone (w/ caller id supported on it) from a 793 port to 793B port and the help desk is so happy to now have caller id!
