Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to display the station number and name of station (which was programmed in PERSI) ni analoge telephones, knowing that I have SLMA3 card.
Is it a parameter that should be programmed in amo, or it will be automatically display (if the analog phone has a sufficient display)?

Please help.

You will not be able to display the caller's ID on analogue phones. If a name is added is AMO PERSI for an analogue phone then only when it originates a call to an Optipoint/Optiset will the name be displayed on the destination phone. It doesn't matter what type of SLMA card the extension is connected to, name displays will not work on analogue extensions.
If you require the function on certain extensions you will have to change them out for Optipoints/Optisets and connect them to an SLMO card or an STMI card if using IP phones.

So there is no any possible way to display the caller ID on an analog phone, isn't there? even if the analog phone is a Siemens?

To turn on CLIP For analogue phones:
CHA-FEASU:A,CLIP;

To see what type of CLIP
CHA-ZAND:TYPE=ALLDATA3,CLIPSTD=??;

That will give you your choice as to what type of CLIP to turn on

You wont get the PERSI name but you will get the calling number

this is not reaaly true.
it depends from the phones you're using.
there's some thyrdy party phones that show also the calling name in amo persi. i try some times ago some analog phones provide by gigaset with external power supply , and i can read the call id stn and persi name

Yes I think you are correct, it is a long time since I set it up and the phones I was using at the time had only enough space to show a number.
Anyhow Original Poster please give it a try and let us know how you get on.

OK, I've just tried many parameters in CHA-ZAND:TYPE=ALLDATA3,CLIPSTD=...... with a panasonic analog set. I keep getting "INCOMING CALL" all the time. I don't know if the problem is with the telephone set , but it has a clip standard (FSK/ DTMF). I don't know which protocol to choose in the zand amo.

Depends on which country/territory you are in.
Have a look at Link
Also you could just try them one by one to see which works?
Make sure that you are sending in the number to the analogue phone - if you are dialling from your mobile for example that your number actually shows up on another mobile when you ring it.

Also I presume that you are using ISDN where the number shows up already on Optisets/Optipoint phones??

Actually I'm trying to get the SLMAE card to perform the test first :)
