Before i enabled merlin messaging, Caller ID would work on each phone, but after i enabled it, all i get is Transfr by VM 1. How can i have it send the caller ID information to the phones and still have messaging enabled?

Actually the caller id should still be there. You shouldn't need to adjust the id-delay. The problem is that when you are front-ended by an auto attendant, what you see 1st is what is xfering the call to you (vm). If you press the > more button in your display, the caller id should be there.

If you have a full auto-attd and the ID-delay is not set, the caller ID service will not pass through. The caller-Id info is sent after the first ring, if the auto-attd is answering on the first ring, you get no caller-id. The id-delay lets the line ring once before it actually rings on the legend/magix.

I agree jinxs. I was working under the premise that Caller id was up and working prior to implementing the auto attendant like bradinthehouse stated. He would not have rec'd cid prior to the aa being installed were cid delay not set.
