After reading all the posts of the past it seems like i should talk about Caller ID not working at all for the 16th time while my AA is set to 0.

Anyhow...
Here is my problem I have Caller ID working with AA (3 Rings BTW)...
But when a call comes through since there are 3 rings it rings the Reception desk once. Is there a way to turn off the ring if a caller is ringing to AA.

2. Since i am using AA is there a way to change the display of the forwarded call after it leaves AA. I tried to change the Telco settings on recption. All the others say no lines assigned. Maybe Telco Features in the VM ext.????

Again thanks to all that reply, i always appreciate the responses. You guys make me look like a hero...

Thanks
Eric

remove the line ringing from the recep (make them appear only)
If it still rings, set DRT to prime= NO, or change the DRT timer, or make the VM prime.

I don’t understand your second question. If the AA answers and transfers a call to a DN, the CLID should show up. If it does not, yes you can try changing the Telco features of the VM DN's, but I don’t think I have ever had to do that.

Ok First problem worked great thank you.
As for the second. The caller id info is coming over but only displays the name. Prior to pickup Is there a way to have it display the number instead, or the name. I can change this in TELCO FEATURES on the reception phone who has lines assigned. But on a regular handset that gets calls from the AA i cannot. This isnt an urgent matter just some BS, but i know someone here will ask to show the number first before pickup.

Thanks
Eric

Use feature 811 to show info about the call.

You can try to change the 1stDisplay under terminals&sets->telcoFeatures->1stDisplay: and see if it will make a difference, I don't think it will but go ahead and try on the reception phone.

Try again under sets then under log options you can change from names first to number, That should help, sorry cant see well..
