Dear all,

i have an IPO system connect to PSTN and got a T1 QSIG tie to another pabx system and share the provider ddi level to that system,i have placed the 7xx shortcode to route the incoming call into the tie system is work fine .but how can i show the correct caller id from the tie system for the outgoing call??tried place a code Ns"xxxxxx"e on the line shortcode but didn`t work..

Regards

Hi Michael,
Correct me if i'm wrong but you want calls from the remote system to dial out over your PSTN?
What type of lines are your PSTN lines?
What do you receive over QSig from the remote site and what do you need to send to PSTN?

A simple mind delivers great solutions

Hi intrigrant ,

Yes,i would like to make outgoing call from remote site over the ipo T1 PRI connect to PSTN,i had planed the DDI Level for the local site was 8xx and remote site was 7xx and call from local site will show the clid 1234567xx ,and i hope the remote site also can show it to 1234568xx,captured from the IPO QSIG had received the calling ID 8xx from the remote site..thanks for your helping..

have the remote side send a digit to make the distinction between the regular outcalling (9 I guess) and the remote side and send them to 2 different ARS tables with the Ns1234567E (I think you said that 8xx is DID range for remote and also remote extensions I hope otherwise you need a shortcode or ARS table for each caller and send intro information to separate the callers) that will then show caller id you want.

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.

Hi Westi ,

Already separate the main ars table .for the main ARS table placed a Ns123456e is work fine for local site can show correct clid but for the T1 QSIG also placed the Ns123456e shortcode on the line to bypass the ARS table then make outgoing call directly..only can show the prime number. P.S.the local IPO didn`t have the 8xx extension..only have the shortcode for routing..

i know have an method to make a shortcode one by one but the problem is the IPO how to get the calling ID from the remote site. 700 ~ 799 .thanks for your helping..

Did you try this in the line shortcode:
SS - Pass Through Calling Number
Pass through the Calling Party Number. For example, to provide the incoming ICLID at the far end of a VoIP connection, a short code ? with telephone number .SS should be added to the IP line.

Hi intrigrant,

The shortcode are working for pass the calling number to the IPO..but only 3 digit and the tie system can`t config to pass fully 8 digit.Any method to combine the calling id to the prime numebr 123457xx ??

example : TIE system pass the clid to the IPO that is 777..and local PSTN provide DID level 123457xx ..is possible to show the caller ID to 12345777 ?? thanks for your helping..

use s1234567E that will add the Extension number to your outgoing caller ID

Interrupt the silence only if you improve it by saying something, otherwise be quiet and everybody will be grateful.

Hi Westi,

Tried the shortcode s1234567E, the calling number passed by the tie system didn`t trigger the shortcode e (extension) happening...captured on the monitor only sent out the calling number was 1234567.thanks for your helping..
