I'm installing a tda200 with a tva200 vm on a PRI circuit with DID's. Can incoming caller ID be passed through when call forward from extension is activated or transferred out from the voicemail? I get the DID as caller ID when I dial directly from the ext. Any forwarded to CO calls put out the main trunk number. Also, when calls are transferred out manually from a phone, it gives the DID of the ext. transferring it. I can't find anywhere in the manuals that cover this situation so any help would be great.

Another question - has anyone used a multi-tech fax server on the TDA? This is a real estate office and with the new privacy laws, each agent is getting a 2nd DID for fax to route through the fax server and send the fax as an attachment on an email. Any tricks to programming to save time and keystrokes?

Thanks for your help!

What does panasonic tech support say?
have you called multi tech and asked them if the play well with the tda?

I cant see any reason for the multitech would not work as long as you have slt ports on the system to connect to the multitech.

as for number of caller being sent to external phone is possible, first your pri provider would have to be able/allow to send the info from the telephone system and
in system options, option 4 send clip of co caller to ISDN has to be enabled

Thanks for the replies. When I enable option 4 send clip of co caller to ISDN, it blocks outgoing phone calls for stations. I suspect because the incoming CID isn't listed in the CLIP ID of extension setup so when it tries to call out the system blocks the call. It may be that the provider, XO, needs to activate a pass through feature. I haven't called tech support yet since I've seen so many good responses on here I thought it would be quicker to ask here. Getting the original incoming CID isn't critical but the agents would like it. After we've cutover, I'll call tech support & work with them.

The multi-tech has a manual for specific DID setup with the TDA and I'm just getting that setup today.

Thanks for your help! I'll respond when I get an answer.
