Caller ID out only display main phone #

My main # 123-456-8600
My ext# 8684
When I call my cell it show 123-456-8600 not 123-456-8684
I look:
cmd 1212>8684>8684
cmd 1213>8684>03
cmd 5005>00>1234568600
5005>03>123456
cmd 1325>8684>1
What else should I look into, please help?

Did Set 1325> 8684 to 0 ,but it show Incoming Call.
I need it show my ext# 123-456-8684

Ok, lets set 1325> 8684 back to 1

I am suspecting that the telephone company is controlling your Caller ID with the main number or BTN

change 5005>00 to something completely different (123-456-8699) but make a note of what the current info is.

If the change does not follow then it looks like a telco issue.


ALso look at command 3034 for 00-14 and post back with info.

My bad.....

3034 is a command that you have to enter the actual trunk then you will get the data. So enter this:

3034>001 data 15 (no data) or 00 to 14 will show

step through all your trunks 001 to 255 to see data

I did set 3034 trunks 224 to 246 to 15, but it not work.

It still show my main number.

I'm find out another issue.

After I set 3034 trunks 224 to 246 to 15

I got a call from operator, she say can't tranfer call to

another the company. Now I understand we have two company

use the same phone switch.

Company A main number is 123-456-8600

Company B main number is 123-456-3400

Today I set them back 3034>224 to 246>00

and she say it OK.

I still don't understand how the vendor did before.

and how this thing work

According to your programming you are sending bin 00 with CM 3034. If you have nothing in CM 1212 and 1213 for the station you are dialing from you will be sending 1234568600. Default for 1213 by the way is 15 which is the same as off.
When you disabled 3034 there would have been no Calling Party Number sent in the setup message which some carriers will not accespt and they will reject the call. I suspect this is what happened. Most likely you are sending that number correctly but the carrier is substituting the main billing number. You can easily prove this with an ISDN analyzer or by running ISDN trace off the MP of the PBX. This is something your vendor would have to do most likely with the help of NEC.
